          20/12/2019 - educational concert

Bullying - everyone knows about it, but nobody talks about it. The theme of the educational concert was bullying in its various forms. The concert aims to prevent such behavior before it is too late.
The lecturer at the educational concert was the well-known Slovak singer Robo Papp, who is one of the most skilled in the topic of bullying. He had experienced her hardness in his youth and could face it. The second speaker was Marcel Dragúň, who tried to win the Czech-Slovak Superstar title seven years ago. With their friendly approach, they have gained trust and explained to our pupils the dangers and consequences of such behavior.
In addition to bullying as such, the concert also dealt with the issue of so-called. cyberbullying. This form is becoming increasingly relevant especially among the young generation, which is becoming dependent on modern technologies, from mobile phones to social networks. Educational concert was interwoven with songs performed by Rob Papp and Marcel Dragúň enriched with Christmas songs :)

On Monday 9 September, we commemorated the Memorial Day of the Holocaust and Racial Violence. On the occasion of this day, the pupils of our school, as one of the 16 selected schools from Slovakia, attended a memorial and a meeting of generations prepared by the Museum of the Holocaust in Sered. The uniqueness of this event was also confirmed by the participation of the President of the Slovak Republic Mr. Zuzana Čaputová. Being able to listen and chat with people who have experienced the horrors of the Holocaust and persecution on their own is an experience that the teacher does not forget. The narration of Ms. Eva / Chava Hod Kohnová, a native of Handlová, brought pupils and children into a period of childhood and horrors during the Slovak state. The meeting with Naftali Furst and Viera and Pavel Krasny, descendants of Peter and Anna Brezovsky - the holders of the title Righteous Among Nations, also left a strong impression on the pupils. You can also find out about the event in the gallery.
