JUNE
29 June 2018 was the day when the school year 2017/2018 has festively past away. It was the day for honouring the best students and it was the opportunity to present our talented pupils. These students were rewarded by our principal Mgr. Helena Babušíková and our deputy managers Mgr.Dariny Lyžičiarovej and Mgr.Aleny Dingovej. The children got diploma and material price. This day was special because as every year we had to say goodbye to our nine classes. Two of them were awarded by the teachers as the best nine class students "Naj deviataci" Peter Ruffer a Giulia Caponi. Our cultural programe was under the teachers Liana Vinter and Mgr.Magdaléna Jakubíková. The programme was moderated and prepared by representatives of our school pupils parliament Sandra Minárová, Jakub Seko and Mgr. Mária Lukácsová and Mgr. Monika Budayová.
28 June Pupils from the 3rd class spent their last working day of school in Botanical garden by SPU in Nitra. Even the weather wasn´t nice our children could see rare exotic and domestic kinds of plants...
27 June Hands up crew is the fun of two sports that are joined: basketball and football. It is called freestyle.You can enjoy many interesting tricks. 4 June -8 June Pupils from 1/B took part in School in the nature. (Škola v prírode) Slniečko v Radave. (The Sun in Radava) They had fantastic moments that brought them together as a family. In the hart will stay nice memories from these days: Searching around, The Guard of neighbourhood, Strážca Olympiad, visiting salt cave and having fun in a pool. In the evening they had: Pyjamas party, Superboy – Supergirl, baloon party. The children said: ´´We wished to be back!´´
On Wednesday 13 June 2018 Pupils from 3/A and 3/B visited a magical town -Banská Štiavnica. They saw Mine museum and mine Bartolomej. We liked the nature around: Štiavnické vrchy. We will be happy to see it again...
6 June 2018 The class IV.A and some pupils from IV.- IX. ročníka had a trip to High Tatras. They saw Belianska cave and Strba tarn.This trip was under ARRIVA group in cooperation with SSJ ( Slovak Caves Administration) , it was a winning trip of Art competition The Bus of the Future (under the leading teacher Liana Vinter). All children had a great day J
1 June 2018 – International Children´s Day Children celebrated by taking part in English theatre about Brave Rabbit. (1st-5th class) Then they had their own programe. Many tried ice cream or took part in a sport activity... All children got a lot of sweets at school and they had great sunny day :)

On the bike safely
4 May 2018 Pupils from 4th class – N. Fialová, A. Hrnčiarová, F. Kelemen, T. Matejov took part in local transport competition Na bicykli bezpečne. The competition had team character. Boys- girls mixed groups showed their teoretical and practical knowledge in road traffic rules and signs.
21st – 25th May 2018 101 pupils from our school 2nd-4th class took part in Škola v prírode - Tramptária in Krahule. We enjoyed five days in fairy- tale kingdom fulll of excitement and great adventures in Kremnicke vrchy that we will remember for a long time. More you can see in a photoalbum and in the front hall of our school. There is a board devoted to this event.

27/3/2018 by the opportunity of March- The month of the books our children under the leading of the special special pedadogues visited our school library and borroved some books that were interesting for them.
Thanks :)27/3/2018 Our children from 1st-4th class took part in an educational concert. Musicians from an art agency Amos demonstrated our pupils musical- educational programe Even animals are lively creatures, that was focused on actual problems of protection in animal´s rights , with the target to arouse in children feeling and responsibility to animals.The programme touched themes like take care of an animal a suitable choice of an animal, animals pound, animals experiments and etc. You can see more in a photoalbum...
22/3/2018 was in Swätoplukovo square in Nitra, evaluation of an art competition“ Water is Life“. Our pupils from III.B were awarded for the best colective work and Nikola Kondic was awarded for the best individual work. Congratulation !

On Monday 19/3/2018 Our pupils from 1st-8th class took part in an international maths competition Klokan 1st class. - 20 pupils, 2nd class - 18 pupils, 3rd class- 5 pupils, 4th class - 13 pupils, 5th class - 9 pupils, 6th class - 2 pupils, 7th class- 5 pupils, 8th class. - 5 pupils. Solution of Jews question in Slovakia in 1938-1945 exhibition.
The opportunity to teach history in a different way and in the same time understand the importance of knowledge in the past joined together pedagogues in ZŠ Topoľová in Nitra and OZ EDAH. The result is a presentation of exhibition Solution of Jews question in Slovakia in 1938-1945 which was opened in Topoľová school in Nitra 14/2/2018 with guests : Local council in Nitra, PaedDr. Mária Orságová and a deputy of Museum of holocaust in Sereď Mgr.Matěj Beránek,PhD. This ceremonial continued after the speech of Mgr.Helena Babušíková, was filled with an art programe of our pupils- guitar solo was played by Martin Kajan from 5th class and an art reading presented by Hany Rothmeierovej from 9.A.
This could be one of the ways how to remember not only tragical fate millions of innocent victims during the 2nd WW and in the same time do not forget on importance of freedom and tolerance among people. The exhibition is filled in with the photograps from Vrba Wetzler Memorial.
JANUARY
31 January 2018 was for pupils 1.B class excellent experience. This day was special for ceremonial of ,,pasovanie prvákov“. Pupils rescued the kingdom of school by solving educational tasks from Slovak and English language and Maths. Children showed teir skills and creativity by giving 1st class promise to Mgr.Janka Mičíková , Michaela Varhaníková, Andrea Billíková. These teachers got our 1st class children into our school kingdom. We wish to all pupils many spectular moments experienced on our ZŠ Topoľová.

On Friday 26 January 2018 our pupils of 1st class visited Staré divadlo Karola Spišáka in Nitra. Pupils watched nice theatre play Janko Hraško.

DECEMBER
On Tuesday 12th December our pupils created nice atmosphere in Christmas town on Svätopluk square.
The scene "Katkin vianočný príbeh" played pupils of 4/A class - Tamarka Barátová, Miška Némethová and Nelka Furková, 5/A class.
Christmas carols were plaed by guitar (7/B Alexík Vinter) and on drums (6/B Paťko Kmeť).
There was a Saint Family , angel, shepherds ans singing choir:Silvika Klenková a Marko Buch, 5/A, Larka Šimorová, 4/A, Martinko Oprala and Filipko Hlaváč, 3/B,

We are grateful to all children for nice experience and Sr. Gabriele a Sr. Kláre for preparation.
Christmas dressing
Because of Christmas coming we had Christmas dressing in a special room. We are grateful to Ing. Zuzke Jakubíková from Centra voľného času DOMINO in Nitra,who has been helping our pupils for some years to create nice things. Children with special teachers, asistants and nurses created beautiful Christmas ikebana.
The atmosphere was great, all the time there were Christmas carols.
We wished Christmas for every day...
Mgr. Jana Mičíková – school special padagogue18/12/2017 Our pupils from 2nd-5th class decorated gingerbread in a special rooom and children had a taste of Christmas punch with fresh fruit.
14/12/2017 Pupils of 1st-5th class on first two lessons created Christmas decorations in a special room, then they took their creations home. Children showed their creativity and created beautiful Christmas decorations.
4th class and radio MAX
13/12/ 2017 Our pupils from 4/B class had part in Deň otvorených dverí in radio MAX. They visited broadcasting studio with three lucky fellows had an anchorwoman live conversation. They were creating Christmas postcards, drinking sweet Christmas punch and they had the privilige to meet with a singer Adam Ďurica and Lukáš Adamec. It was an unforgettable experience.
On Tuesday 12/12/2017 our school had traditional Vianočný jarmok. There were Christmas creations of every kind. Mums and grandmas helped on the way in baking and helping their beloved children and grandchildren. There were beautiful things baked or not baked and tables had a lot of charming creations, beautiful candlesticks or gentle angels. Many of u sused this opportunity to buy Christmas presents for the members of our family and friends. This atmosphere was here all day and we hope that smiles on our faces will stay as long as possible.
There were special guests on vianočný jarmok- ex -deputy headmistresses and ex- directors.
On Monday 11/12/2017 we had school round of History olympiad.These pupils were the best.

On Saturday 9/12/2017 pupils had a trip to Trnava with their history- geographical club. They saw Christmas town reservation and many Trnava monuments , memorials that brought historical events. Unforgettable moments was a visit of Advent marketsand views of Trnava from Town tower. (By MirKos)
On Wednesday 6/12/2017 we had Nicolaus that made joy to all good children. We are grateful to all children from 1st-9th class, that actively joined in a preparation under the leading of Sr. Gabriela, Sr. Klára and our Mrs. teacher Mgr. Ľudmily Sedláčkovej. 1st, 2nd and 3rd class had the opportunity to be on a steam train in Slovak agriculture museum in Nitra. They could see Slovak traditions how this Christmas looked like a long time ago. They tasted Christmas tea, waffles or gingerbread. Children could see Christmas ikebana. They had Nicolaus, devil and angel. 4th class had Nicolaus tournament between classes in handball. It was nice day J

NOVEMBER
27/11/2017
One of the most approved forms of help and maintenance is our regular autumn collection of paper and PET- bottles. All classes took part in this great activity, but the best can be only some and who has won this autumn?
The winner in the collection of paper is 1/C with 225 kg and their prize is day without homework that they can choose.
The winner of PET- bottles is V.A class with 585 PET – bottles and as a prize they get a day without checking according to their choice.
Congratulation to winners and thank you to all that took part in this event.
On Wednesday 22 November 2017 We had Slovak national testing of pupils in 5th class. We kept our fingers crossed for our children that the 1st important exam from Slovak language and Maths had the best results. Pupils from 6th-9th class had director´s day off.
16 November 2017 Our pupils took part in educational- funny competition "Literárny kalamár". This year was about fables. We had 4 members team from 7/A and 8/B. All kids of different tasks brought to our school 3rd place in 8/B and 5th place in 7/A. Congratulation to all.
On Friday 3rd November 2017 Pupils from 6/B took part in regular action with environmental feeling- Festival Vysoké Tatry Nitra. During this festival our pupils can see the life in high mountains not only through the eyes of inhabitants but even visitors, too.
3 November 2017 Our 3rd class had a very special visit of herbs lady PhDr. Miriam Latečková. She brought different kinds of herbs and explained to them their healing power that is hidden in them. She boiled a blue tea from abomasum that helps with sore throat or coughing.She showed them how to make a cream and from what that they even tried. She brought honeycomb and candles etc. During her visit she was giving kids questions and each child got a healthy lavender lollipop. More you can see in photoalbum...
OCTOBER
For 1.B was Friday 27 October a special day that was badly espected. Why? They were celebrating Halloween. The whole day was leading them a ghost Casper, that prepared for them spooky activities from Maths and Slovak language.Kids were great in solving things and at the end they got medals and their treat was Halloween tasty cake that prepared Mrs. Lazarovová. Thank you. Children made some gifts to Casper, too.(bats and ghosts) The day ran away fast and left kids with great memories.
17/10/-/20/10/2017 Pupils from the first grade took part in Slovak project Hovorme o jedle (Let´s talk about food). Children brought different kinds of foodstuff and together they prepared healthy food. They joined exciting activities that showed them the importance of varied diet, full of vitamins and minerals that helps to take care of their health. They learned how to bring the correct eating habits into their life and how not to waste food in general. They had the colours of the theme of the day: fruit- vegetable day was red and yellow, milk products day was white and grainy day was brown as the grain in bread...More you can see in a photoalbum...

On Friday 13 October 2017 Our school had a precious visit. Deputy Member of Parliament Branislav Grohling, member of National Council in Slovak Republic for education, science and sport visited our primary school. During two hours he was in a discussion with our headmistress and our teachers and he found his time for members of Pupil´s parliament, that is active in our school.
We have a new club under the guide of Mgr. Sládeková : Club for young enthusiastic children that like chemical experiments- Alchemists. Here are some pictures from first lessons...
SEPTEMBER
28/9/2017 Our pupils from I. A, B, C a II.A, B, C, took part in a an educational concert under the name Integráčik. Children learnt about the project : Adopt a cow. The concert had a great atmosphere because of M.Čírová and M.Jaroš. The performance was funny and educational. Children were dancing the wholw concert through. They came back with fantastic mood and with a smile on the face.
